Kung Fu Hustle (Chinese: 功夫; lit. 'Kung Fu') is a 2004 Cantonese-language action comedy film directed, produced, co-written by, and starring Stephen Chow. The film tells the story of a murderous neighbourhood gang, a poor village with unlikely heroes, and an aspiring gangster's fierce journey to find his true self. Eva Huang, Yuen Wah, Yuen Qiu, Danny Chan Kwok-kwan and Leung Siu-lung co-starred in prominent roles. The martial arts choreography is supervised by Yuen Woo-ping.

A frustrated Sing attempts to rob an ice cream vendor but discovers that she is actually Fong. When she recognizes him and offers him a lollipop, he smashes it and leaves in shame. Brother Sum offers Sing immediate gang membership if he uses his lock-picking skills to free the Beast, a legendary assassin, from a mental asylum. Sing brings the Beast back to the Axe Gang's headquarters.

Recipe inspired by Bon Appetit and adapted from my roasted Brussels sprouts and crispy baked tofu with honey-sesame glaze. *Make it gluten free: This dish is gluten free as long as you use gluten-free tamari, which is a variety of soy sauce that is usually (but not always, check the label) gluten free. I always use tamari instead of soy sauce because I prefer the flavor of it! Look for tamari next to the soy sauce in the Asian aisle of the grocery store.Make it vegan: Simply swap maple syrup for the honey instead when making the sesame glaze.Make it peanut-free: Just omit the peanuts. You might like a sprinkle of sesame seeds instead.Change it up: Broccoli would be a fantastic substitute for the sprouts, and probably cheaper, too!

Crispy Kung Pao Cauliflower. Cauliflower battered and baked and tossed in spicy kung pao sauce. Super hot Appetizer for gameday. Vegan Recipe. Can be gluten-free with gluten-free breadcrumbs. Double the kung pao sauce for larger cauliflower or to serve over rice.

Reducing intra-operative opioid consumption benefits patients by decreasing postoperative opioid-related adverse events. We assessed whether opioid-free anesthesia would provide effective analgesia-antinociception monitored by analgesia index in video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery.

One hundred patients were randomized; 3 patients were excluded due to discontinued intervention and 97 included in the final analysis. Intraoperative pain threshold index readings were not significantly different between group OFA and group OA from arriving operation room to extubation (P = 0.86), while the brain wavelet index readings in group OFA were notably lower than those in group OA from before general anesthesia induction to recovery of double lungs ventilation (P

The primary outcome of this study was intraoperative PTI reading recorded at after entering the operating room (PTI0, baseline value), 10min after infusion of loading dose dexmedetomidine (PTI1), after intubation (PTI2), 30min after one-lung ventilation (PTI3), recovery of double lungs ventilation (PTI4), 5min after extubation in the operation room (PTI5). Secondary outcomes include WLI reading, MAP and HR at same timepoints as PTI, arterial partial pressure of oxygen, blood glucose concentration and lactic acid value from intraoperative blood gas at after entering the operating room (BGA0, baseline value), 1h after surgery begun (BGA1), 2h after surgery begun (BGA2), 5min after extubation in the operation room (BGA3). Total consumption of anesthesia medications, time to passage of flatus (the time from the end of operation to the patient complaining of the first spontaneous breaking wind event), PONV, length of stay, pH and SpO2 were measured and recorded.

The results of single factor (time) repeated measurement analysis showed that PTI value, WLI value, PaO2, lactic acid level and blood glucose concentration of the two groups showed significant changes at different time points (P

WLI: wavelet index; PTI: pain threshold index; MAP: mean arterial pressure; HR: heart rate. PTI0: baseline value, PTI1: 10min after dexmedetomidine infusion (1μg kg-1), PTI2: after intubation, PTI3: 30min after one lung ventilation, PTI4: both lungs ventilation, PTI5: 5 min after extubation. *: p

The best tofu for stir frying is the extra firm kind. If you cannot find this type, medium-firm tofu also works. I personally love using the tofu from House-Foods. It is tasty, inexpensive, and made with high-quality Non-GMO US soybeans. It is also gluten-free and kosher certified. You can find it in most grocery stores and Asian markets.

In my home, we have stir fries for dinner about twice a week because of how easy and versatile they are to make. This Panda Express kung pao chicken copycat is the perfect meal for using up vegetables and protein sitting in your fridge. For this recipe, feel free to switch up your protein and vegetables and create your own kung pao stir fry based on what you have available to you.

Kung Pao Brussels sprouts are topped with crunchy peanuts and a savory, sweet, and spicy chile sauce. A bold-flavored and easy weeknight side dish that's ready in just 30 minutes and naturally dairy-free/vegan.

Place the tray in the freezer and freeze the meatballs until solid. Once the meatballs are completely frozen, place in an air-tight container or a large freezer bag. Use within 3 months for best results.

I have been bookmarking several of your recipes to try and I made this last night for the family. It was delicious and easy to make. Will definitely be in the meal rotation. Love the idea of making and freezing the meatballs ahead of time. This is a great recipe for meal prep.

Updated January 2023! Panda Express is the largest Asian fast food chain in the U.S., specializing in American Chinese cuisine. They used to have some very odd menu labeling for milk, but we helped them get it fixed, so now every section of their menu is filled with dairy-free options, as noted below. This information is for the U.S., but their menu only varies slightly in Canada.

Allergen & Special Diet Notes: All items listed below are also egg-free by ingredients, except the Fried Rice and Hot & Sour Soup. The only item below that contains peanuts is the Kung Pao Chicken, and the only one with tree nuts is the Honey Walnut Shrimp. However, almost every menu item contains wheat and soy. There are no gluten-free entrees, appetizers, or sides (aside from plain rice) at Panda Express. We have labeled the few soy-free, dairy-free options below. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post. 2ff7e9595c
